Wesport
Queen Anne Shingle, Westport

A new Shingle-style residence designed with Queen-Anne motifs. The relatively simple box form of the house is animated with boxed bays, shingled arches, and a deep wrap-around porch. A delicate band of saw-tooth shingles acts as the transition between clapboard and shingle siding. The wood shingled roof caps the home with deep, broad and sweeping overhangs. There is a strong axial arrangement of spaces throughout the house.
